What is Saesalchim (Subcision)?

Scars on the skin have a characteristic where the tissue is pulled inwards from beneath.

Although they appear sunken on the surface, in reality, beneath the dermal layer,

fibrous tethers strongly pull the skin of the scar area downwards.

To improve the scar, these adhesions must be released, allowing the skin to return to its original position.

Saesalchim (Subcision) is precisely a procedure that separates these adhesive tissues.

Principle of Saesalchim (Subcision)

1. Adhesion Release (Severance)

The fibrous adhesive bands deeply situated in the skin are

carefully severed and separated using a fine needle or cannula.

Through this process, the adhesions of the skin tissue that were pulling it downwards are released, and the sunken scar area can be expected to gradually fill in.
